MSV Leadership Training

As a Board Member or Officer of the MSV, MSVF, MSVIA or MSVPAC you are invited, at the recommendation of MSV President Dr. Joel Bundy, to an exclusive training and insights workshop from Tecker International, LLC, a leadership strategy team renowned for their work in helping Board Members and Officers define priorities and work better together. Dr. Bundy and Melina Davis, EVP & CEO, received this training together earlier this year and realized how valuable it would be to share it with more physicians and staff, particularly for those in leadership positions or expected to enter them in the coming years.

Participants will develop a common understanding of the key components of successful governance, strategy, and organization for the MSV, MSVF and MSVIA. We will work together to: explore the four competencies of leadership:

  • Deploy the Myers-Briggs research tool, which helps leaders increase their self-awareness and appreciate differences in others
  • Understand the unique nature and lifecycle of associations
  • Outline common understanding of roles, responsibilities, and relationships of leadership and staff
  • Discuss factors and key drivers of changes in healthcare organizations as related to the Strategic Plan

Breaks, Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast will be provided.
